Identity at the intelligence edge
Brand identity and launch website for Lumbra, an early-stage AI company building autonomous intelligence systems for the intelligence community.
Two halves, one mark
The selected mark combines a striped circular form with a gold crescent in one compact silhouette. The contrast gives the symbol enough presence to work across dark, light, and single-color applications.
The mark remained unchanged through later refinements, while the gold accent and typography were revisited. Urbanist was selected for the final wordmark and website.
The first test was the website
The launch site shown here was designed in Figma and developed in WordPress as a single responsive page covering the company, product, team, and open roles.
Working on the identity and website in parallel allowed the typography, hierarchy, and layouts to be tested immediately. A later update introduced Urbanist and a custom animated hero.
The first public version of Lumbra
The project established Lumbra’s first public identity and website. As the work expanded into motion, social, and print, the original mark remained unchanged.
